My Story

Tea has always been a huge part of my life, my culture, and my family. I’m currently a pharmacist working in a hospital, and I understand the challenges of managing a busy schedule. My day often starts at 5 a.m., and like many, I rely on a latte for that essential caffeine boost. However, I found that making lattes can be time-consuming, especially with limited time in the morning.

In my quest for a quick and convenient solution, I tried various instant milk tea powders available on the market. Unfortunately, I discovered a significant gap – most of these products were loaded with dairy, sugar, and preservatives, which are not only unhealthy but also unsuitable for my lactose-intolerant body. I realized there was a need for a delicious, but good-for-you, instant milk tea powder that was easy to make and free from unhealthy additives.

Driven by my passion for health and beauty, I set out to create a product that met these criteria. As an Asian-American, I wanted to incorporate authentic Asian flavors into my milk tea line, starting with matcha, which I absolutely adore. I spent months researching, developing, and sourcing the highest quality ingredients to perfect my formula. After numerous trials and small batches shared with friends and family, who loved it, I felt inspired to scale up and launch my brand – PureniTea.
